Dam man I can't believe you drove it like that. To me that's a rod knock maybe piston slap so back to the rod just sounds so much like a rod

I didn't drive it like that, that last video done on the dark I recorded when I was first led onto the idea that it was the flywheel, I had it on jack stands ready to pull the tranny.. Lol and it wasn't as bad when it was in gear and at idle, hints why the wheels were turning..

Visually looking at the rods, pins, pistons, crank, etc, from the bottom end, looking up I to the cylinders, everything looks fine.. But there is definitely something going on with it..

Yeah . did you try to move all the rods by hand should be no play and make sure no play with piston either just sounds like its gonna be in that ball park

Waiting on my swap engine, should be getting it this coming week, it's also a 4.6, bored .30 over, stroker kit, cam kit, painted ford blue, said to be a really good engine, fresh rebuild of all internals, port polished shaved heads, titanium valves, and spark plug taps to address the original shallow threads, never been in a car yet since rebuild, and has only ran on engine stand for break in time.. I can't wait to here it gallop!! Lol

I've got PI heads and PI intake, from the 99 4.6 I pulled.. Motor I pulled is still a good one, just needs a crank kit, it had spun a bearing on number 8.. But I'm get my new motor off of a friend of mines dad, so I'm getting it really cheap.. Plus he might be giving me long tube headers with it.. Can't wait.. I'll have it tomorrow or Wednesday..

Got screwed on my motor that I bought, so now I'm currently waiting on a court date, while waiting, I picked up a 2004 crown Vic, pulled the 4.6 interceptor out of it, I got everything changed over that needs changed over for my gt, but now I'm having trouble finding a 6 bolt 164 tooth flywheel for either a 10" or a 10.5" clutch.. Any ideas??
