Launching and traction advice?

Hey guys, I'm about to get a tune from MPT in the mail pretty soon, but I realized I have, and will have worse with added torque, a problem with traction. I'm in a bad need of mods to improve my traction off the line at the drag, as I can't launch above 1,000 rpms without burning out through first and second gear. I already have wide Nitto NTO5s on the rear, so that's checked off. I'm already looking at better control arms to help launch. What else is there to do?
Thanks in advance.

Loose the tires, nitto does not make a good street tire. Only tire they make worth a crap is the NT05Rs ( the drag radial )

Then Lca's and UCA.

Just how much of a difference do control arms make?

What else could I do to add power? I recently got a MPT tune that jacked my power up, but I still want to add power that's not NOS or Forced Induction. Any ideas?

What bolt ons do you currently have? Can do the infamous CAI (which is debatable if it really increase power on certain mustang's), UDP (there is a couple threads on here about them, some currently ), exhaust and mid pipe or a cat back set up, throttle body and Plenum, etc.

The NT05 is pretty good. But thats more geared toward cornering than putting raw power down.

I really wish the guy at Discount Tire would've told me that... I also just found out that I have 4.10 gears, that THAT explains why I spin my tires at every launch.

LCAs won't affect the torque boxes, UCAs can, that's why you will want to reinforce the torque boxes when you put them on.

When launching you can't go WOT the second you disengage your clutch or you will spin off the tires. If your at full bolt on N/A car then it's pretty easy, after you disengage (pop) your clutch at around 2750rpms, give it JUST ENOUGH throttle so it won't bog ease into the throttle for about half a second then you should be at WOT and that's it. If your at around 330-400rwhp you may have to play with the throttle a lot more, and depending on tires, surface prep, and etc.
