Crank pulley removal

Hey anyone ever remove the crank ?

I'm going to attempt it sunday..
Any pointers ?

I have a big gal air compressor, with a pretty strong 1/2 impact ..
If that doesn't work or fit I was going to use a breaker bar with a large pipe to get it off, then use a puller to remove it.

Was going to put car in 5th gear ..

Any tips ?

Impact should do it. You can also stick a breaker on it, put the end of the breaker on the ground and bump the starter. That's assuming the 4V rotates clockwise if you are looking at it from the front.

Thats an old backyard trick that ive used time and time again lol ive had one one time that i had to take to a truck shop to get them to use there 1" impack gun on and i was so afraid it was going to snap off in there but that was an extreme case luckily on our mod motors u can get to the crank pulley bolt easily even with the stock kmember
