Here's the thing. Electricity takes the path to least resistance. And normal spark plugs have no problem jumping the single gap. When you add more electrodes it will still only take the least resistant one. So what difference does it make? Well with more material at the top it shrouds the spark more and less complete ignition. Now there's going to be someone say well when I put them in I felt a difference and my car ran better. You're absolutely right. When you replace worn out spark plugs with new ones it will. Doesn't matter what kind it is. I thinks here just a marketing gimmick. Stick to copper plugs or at most platinum fine wire if if you want longer life.

I get them free, so I'm not worried about life span, I change them frequently anyways, even and mostly when there not even needing changed.. I would understand your theory more so if the plug only had two or more points of contact, that was not connected, however I do fill some difference, but just enough to notice, agreeable to your saying "changing old ones with new ones you'll feel a difference"., but I've been known to change plugs after using new ones for as little as three days to a week.. But this is only my opinion, in which I was asked.. I'm not the biggest fan of accel cop's, but again, I don't pay much for them either if it all.. So I use them.. I think the most I've paid for accel cop's (new) was around $40 for all 8.. I'm thinking on switching those in the future however.. But for now I have bigger issue with my engine that I'm trying to figure out..

Haha thanks for the info. I always see e3 plugs hyped up watching Gearz but haven't ever known anyone who tried them.

Personally I like sticking to Motorcraft when I can, although my truck and 68 but have Autolites.
