Personally never been a fan of race lands. The rears aren't even really coil-overs.

They aren't but they are adjustable and that's what I was aiming for.

Finished the front this evening and will be doing the rear tomorrow after a few other things are done before hand

How difficult is it to install and adjust the suspension?

Very easy actually just like replacing the strut. It takes me longer to jack the car off and take the wheel off the. It does to adjust the ride height.

So in all took me about 2 hours to install both front and rear. Would have been faster if I had my other jack so I had to remove the rear sway bar and do one side at a time on the lower control arms.

I will say thought ride quality is actually really nice. Car basically floats down the road take bumps very well, was kinda of surprised.

I do and I also have adjustable camber bolts in the strut to get more camber back since it's so low which really helped out in the end since I'm running an 18x9 wheel with a 265 up front

All said and done, that's the lowest I can go for now until I roll the fenders a bit more. I'll get a picture of it next to a stock height mustang this afternoon to show the comparison.

Which strut are you going with for that setup?

The front is 220 and the rear is 250. Was actually able to go around some turns today and the car handles much more stable and feels planted compared to my H&R super sport springs I had on. It was very noticeable that's for sure

I'm using KONI Yellows with the MM coilover conversions.

Also, do you know if the rear is in a true coilover or if its still measured traditional? I know that my stock springs are a 250lb in the rear, and MM recommended a 250lb coil for the rear. But in real life a 250lb coil is about a 550lb traditional spring.....

I've got 375lb fronts and 250lb rears for my coilovers.

Wait nevermind. I'm assuming its in a traditional spring rate for the rear. They wouldn't make the rear stiffer than the front.

oh also if you want a really awesome suspension look into a MM Panhard Bar and Torque Arm, with Subframe connectors. That'll make the car ride amazingly. Or even a Watts Link instead of Panhard Bar. My car already handles so much better than stock and i haven't even touched the springs or sway bars (yet).

I've looked into the panhard bar but wanted some form of an adjustable ride height and coil overs just seemed to be the better option. I think a good set of lower control arms will be my next suspension upgrade.

Do you have subframe connectors yet? That's the back bone of a good suspension.

Raceland coil overs

I haven't yet just because I have to figure something out with my exhaust since it exits out the side and I already know they will interfere with them. I'm just not sure how much fabricating I will have to do to make it work

*there used to be a company that made some that would still allow our cars to run side exhaust, but I have been unsuccessful in finding them though.

Note to self, do not get Roush front chin or side skirts...

Looks badass man! What sort of a drop is that? I know it's in the 2" range

At this point at what I have it at maybe close to 3" drop if not a little more. I had the H&R super sport which was a 2" drop in the front. Before I put the coil overs on I had a little over an inch and half of fender gap in the front now the tire is tucked in the wheel well.

This was with H&R springs Click image for larger version
