Eh I like oem usually lol. But yeah, if wrenches are being turned, that wrench is in my hand.

Yeah theres a lot of stuff that I will only run in OEM. but things that involve fuel/air flow usually are better off being from edelbrock or some other performance company.

And to the OP, if you are in school or very financially unstable, then take the risk and buy used.

However, if you work full time and are on your own, just buy something that's not such a **** shoot. My used car has me ripping my god damned hair out every time I drive it. If I wasn't so impossibly manly, I would have cried when my throw out bearing went out today in the middle of a busy intersection.

I just put a new engine in, now the clutch needs work, alternator is bad. Holy ****ING ****IIIIING SHIIIT. Im debating things right now. Should I fix this thing any more? Or should I just drive it off a cliff? Should I go down with the ship? lol

I got my mustang with 199k on it. It was owned by a mortician and then by an older couple before me. It has beautiful leather interior and shiny near flawless paint for 12 years old and 200k on it now. The engine doesn't leak anywhere nor the tranny or rear end. It was meticulously maintained and I have already upgraded many things. Like many others on here, I think these cars and engines will go 300k+ if maintained.

Sent from the mothership.
