Not bad I suppose. It would be cool to cut a hole in your hood underneath to get some air to your engine. I wouldn't add lights to it or the grill IMO. Looks ricey and un needed. Mach up the front, and it looks menacing even just with fogs n head lights.

Probably the chrome grill is the best you can do. That's why a lot of people keep theirs. Because it's pretty much that or nothin.

That scoop is now going to rip right off on the highway... Hopefully does not come cause a wreck. Id remove it totally or swap to a different hood. Honestly the v6 hoods look pretty good from those years, the ones with the single "heat extractor".

Well if you put the scoop on your hood and the honeycomb is gone and its now basically a duct with no exit... it is GOING to fly off and potentially cause a wreck. And possibly jack up your paint/windshield if it slams back into you first. I'm not trying to be an ***, but that honeycomb was there for a reason, to make it a closed off hump that air would flow over/around, not into.

Unless I am missing something...

Mine has been off for months. The four bolts and the 3M tape that holds it down do their job.

If I should worry about it coming off then I should worry about my side scoops from MMD that are ONLY held on with 3M tape coming off to. Safety first, if I felt that the hood scoop would pose a problem with safety, I would responsibility address it.

PS at least on my MMD scoop the honey combs were not sealed off, allowing air to flow through them. The honeycomb was poorly designed and proved to be nothing more than fluff that would keep the scoop from laying flush with the hood. Poor MMD design. I still have mine because the alternative is having four holes in my hood.

Lol I drilled holes in my honeycomb and cut a clean hole to my engine bay in my old gt. Looked okay and was an actually functioning hood scoop partially.
