I like the 2s, more of a good deep tone to them. The resonators kind of give it a "Jake brake" kind of sound. But It's Whatever you like.

If you go with a off road mid pipe with lm1 ypu will actually loose power due to no back pressure stick with flows or lm2 or borla

Thought that was to be false the whole back pressure myth. Because aren't longtubes designed to pull the remaining gas out of the tubes? That's what I've always been told that the header collector was designed to remove any remaining gas to make room for the next flow of exhaust. So wouldn't this be true for the rest of the exhaust?

This will be interesting...

Why do you say that he's gonna lose power and what is your basis behind it? Have you run that setup yourself and can attest to it running slower?

Only way you lose power from an exhaust modification is if you make the pipes to big. You don't need back pressure

Exactly , some people think 3" pipes all the way make it better , when it's kinda worse.
I always thought 3- 2.5 - whatever else is on the cat back is best

So long tubes into a 3'' collector then into a 3'' mid pipe and straight out the side with a lm1 is a no go? Because I've been toying around with this idea for a set up for awhile to replace the Roush's magnaflows for awhile and get rid of the 180 degree turn my exhaust now does

Some thing similar to this

The problem with running a 3" exhaust is that our engines don't flow enough air to need that big of an exhaust pipe
