Mid pipe for a 04 gt auto?

I have SLP Lm1s on my auto GT and I'm getting a midpipe soon any suggestions? I want it to be loud! I had a UPR X O/R in mind?

Get a true x pipe design. Not a chamber like bbk or bassani etc

I agree^^… I have the bbk x and It's OK, I don't Love it, sounds good though. I would rather have had the true x design like a UPR which are good for the price, go with it! My BBK was a deal that i couldnt pass up thats why i got it

I usually vote H pipes. I am not a fan at all of X pipes (or the Loudmouths).

H/X or a chambered pipe, you will not see a power difference between them just sound. I can personally vouch for the fit and quality of the bbk pipe.

I like my Steeda. I cant find em for sale anymore though. But its not very loud. When I'm driving, i can tell its not stock, but i always feel like its almost unheard. But when i had a friend drive it, and he pulled away (slowly) it sounded nice. Low tone but not loud. also at 1900rpm on the highway, not droning sound. it doesnt start to get noisy until 2100 and even then its tolerable.

Ah. I remember reading that about one of them, just got it mixed up. makes sense that its the mufflers and not the mid pipe.

UPR and very good quality should not go in the same sentence...

UPR=Unauthorized Product Reproductions

They do have some good things, others require some "modification" to fit right. Others flat out just suck crank. Its not like Max Motorsports or Steeda or some other company that actually designs/tests/builds their own **** and has a QC process in place or anything...

I have the MRT catted H and LOVE the sound with my Steeda catback (on '04 GT auto). The mid-pipe did make it a little louder, but more importantly IMO deeper.
