About a week a ago the ABS Light turned on my 04 GT and the trac control light turned on as well and can't turn them off. They turn off at times and trac control goes back to normal but lately it's been doing it more often please help

go to autozone or advance autoparts. if they are using the good scanner (they should be) then they can pull an ABS code. its probably a wheel speed sensor going bad. the scanner tool should let you know which one. let us know how it goes.

Check your brake fluid level, low can cause the light to come on and off

Wouldnt that be the brake light? Not the abs. Or trac control

Not the brake fluid that's the rudest thing I checked

Just had the same thing happen to me last week. I was told by 2stang to check and clean abs sensors and connections and it worked.

come to think of it, when i was replacing a few wheel studs, i noticed some metal particles stuck to the magnet on the wheel sensor. So i could imagine a good cleaning would help improve its signal and effectiveness.

Before i bought my 01 Bullitt it had the exact same thing. Trac light on and the ABS light on. It turned out to be the ABS module needing to be replaced. I got it from a dealer so they fixed it no extra charge before i took ownership.

That is most likely what is wrong with yours.

My bad. I was thinking brake light not ABS. I Also had to replace a sensor on mine as it was doing the same thing.

My ABS has been on since I got the car. Traction light doesn't stay on. Comes on like the rest of the lights and then goes off.
