They're hard to come by and when you do they're a bit expensive. So just be prepared

Good luck. I have never seen that happen. Most 99/01 Cobra guys know how rare their bumper is and don't sell it. Most of the ones on the market are from Cobras that were wrecked in the rear end.

OP: There are aftermarket ones on the market, they aren't OEM quality, they are fiberglass. I've heard fitment is crap, but if you really want the bumper it may be a viable option.

Look on multiple forum classifieds, look on ebay, look on CL and be prepared to spend $600 for one that is in good shape.

Fiberglass bumpers are known to crack. That's why you only see OEM type plastic or Carbon Fiber

Doesn't seem terrible. I have heard issues about fitment with aftermarket fiberglass ones though. Also since it is fiberglass it can't bend like OEM so IF there is fitment issue, you can't really adjust it all too much.

This. And I called it not being OEM. You never want a fiberglass front bumper regardless of whether they even fit perfect or not. One good sized rock will go right through it vs bouncing off like it would Urethane. There is a reason the factory does not use fiberglass.

That's just cosmetic too and if you have one of the V6 hoods that has the single "heat extractor" up front, those really look pretty decent. Better than a non-functional plastic hunk taped/riveted down like the GT has IMO. I'd take the $$$ you'd be putting into a hood or front bumper and get yourself some bolt ons and a SCT tuner.

My car is 100% appearance and the stock v6 hood looks like trash
