I want to paint my wheels

I wanna paint my wheels, but not sure what to do. I have plastidip already. I tried painting the center caps only but it looked dumb. Considered a dark metallic gray wheel paint. Otherwise all black. I was told paint it black, ditch the center caps and use chromed lug nuts. My worry is what goes well with white and the deluxe rims?
