Shuts off & Idles low

When I'm at complete stops the car begins to struggle then shuts off!

The service and battery light turns on right after. (WTF)

I bought with intake manifold installed already so I believe that is part of the problem (I think) Help needed.

I'm live in Orlando, florida and would like to take it in to a Ford know it all person without having to pay an arm and a leg please..

Any suggestions???

Thanks for looking!

Which intake manifold does it have on it?

Im not sure if you're asking for recommendations for a good mechanic in the Orlando area or if you would like us to help you diagnose your stalling problem?

May need both actually if we can't pinpoint what the issue is...It has the same manifold used by Ford on the 2001 to 2004 4.6L SOHC 2V V8 GT Mustangs
I forget to add that it came with STEEDAs air intake kit already installed.

Also the only way I can prevent it from shutting off is by turning on my A.C !

I would bet your IAC is going bad. Stray might know he the proper way to diagnose it, I can't think of it off the top of my head, but that seems like it'd be the most likely culprit to me

if your CEL light is on, hook up a scanner and it will tell you what's wrong or at the least point you into the proper direction.

The cel goes off when you restart the car? You could still try to scan it as it may have codes stored.
I would also check for vacuum leaks

If you have a bad battery or a weak alternator, all sorts of strange problems can occur. I'd make sure that the charging system is working correctly first.
If that is working correctly, and the idle problem still persists, I agree with JDF that the next likely suspect would be the Idle Air Control valve.

Like stray said it sounds like charging system issues. I have read many posts on this forum where odd issues like your having can be traced back to the alternator.

sounds like a vacuum leak, maybe even something up with the throttle body. if the ac saves it from dying, wouldnt that mean that the extra throttle from the iac is keeping it going? still very well possibly that its an iac issue, but it sounds like a vacuum leak if its constant. spray some throttle body cleaner where you think there could be a leak. you should hear a change in the rpm. (place a dime or pennie at the throttle linkage and bolt to give it a little throttle.

and dang, i used to live in orlando, i would check it out if i could.

just need some more info. how long has it been doing this?
did something change and then it happened? (intake manifold?)
or did you buy it with this problem?
