4.6 to 5.4 swap! Please help!

Okay I have a 2004 GT and I bent a rod on my car so I'm really thinking about swapping it to a sohc 5.4. I understand that it's not really much of a hp gain but a decent torque gain.
I also heard that it pretty much bolts right on but heard that the intake manifold has to be replaced.
So what I really want to know is how hard is this process? How much am I looking to spend? Will my boltons fit and will my gears be to much for the torque that the 5.4 gives? (I currently have intake, throttle body plenum, and 3.73 gears) will I need to get a dyno once it's in? Any extra information or pros and cons would be great! Thank you!!Click image for larger version

The engine is very similar, it's just a bit taller and wider because of the taller deck height for that long stroke. The bore of the motor is actually the exact same as the 4.6, the increase in displacement is the stroke. 4.6 2v manifolds will work on it I believe. It drops right in from what I've seen.

Do the expeditions, f-150 etc have the pi heads? If not, would mine bolt right on?

Use a 4.6 intake manifold and plenum and it should fit under the stock hood.
