Dyno tune

What exactly do you get out of a dyno tune hp? Or just taking place of stock tune?

You will gain more power, it allows you to see where the power drops off so you can adjust where you want to shift (more helpful for manuals), and is customized to your specific setup I'm your region.

Is it pretty much the same as buying a tuner?

No. A tuner is just how you upload the tune. If you buy one from Bama or something like that they offer their own remote tunes. But those tunes won't be as good as a dyno tune and then tend to be on the very safe side

I was quoted 350 dollars for a tune from pro dyno, is that the average cost of a dyno tune?

That's a good price for a handheld and a dyno tune.

Sounds like a good price. About 800 here at a very good Shop in Michigan for the handheld and dyno.

What mods do you have? A dyno tube really isn't worth the money until you've gone past bolt ons.
