Long tubes

Say I'm getting BBK long tube headers. Do I have to get the same brand for my mid pipes? Or could I get different shorty pipes brands

I'd say to not get the BBKs at all, they put a big kink in one of the primaries to clear the steering shaft vs designing them to clear properly. Busch league. You should get a matching BBK pipe if you do get them though. Makes it fool proof. I'd get the SLP longtube/pipe setup myself...

I have also heard bad things about BBK headers. And I have the SLP long tube headers with SLP catted xpipe on mine. Fitment is great between the two and quality is great

I've heard a lot of good things about Slp I plan on running their whole exhaust headers back and then out the side

I just ordered SLP loudmouth resonators, and I've been told to hey Mac Pro chamber h pipes, but would need Mac headers to. What type of mid and headers should I get guys?

I'm going with BBK Long Tubes and shorty X-pipe on my '14 soon. I've put BBK Long Tubes on a '93 5.0 and a '96 4.6 and they were great. Don't break the bank, and didn't have any issues with install or any issues as time went on.

If opt out for the xpipe just because I like the popping it gives when decelerating.
