Keeping a Mustang close to stock

I go through cars like women go through clothes. I plan to keep my Mustang for the next good few years though. I want to mod my current mustang but if I plan to own another in the future then I just have to resist.

I plan to own a 2004 Screaming Yellow Cobra within the next 5 years or less. So I do know mods don't add any value what so ever. So right now I own a 2000 Mustang GT 5 speed. Currently has dorman intake, CAI, accel coils, short throw, Kenwood radio, x pipe, flowmaster. Sitting almost 85K miles. It does have it flaws but with care and regular service I shouldn't have a problem selling it for 5K or so, correct? I do plan to revert everything back to stock OEM except for the exhaust and short throw.

In most areas yea you should be able to grab 5k for it. Most will low ball you of course. Just clean and detail it and it shouldnt take long.

I had somebody offer me 8k in cash for my car at the track. I turned it down and said its not for sale, but he gave me his number in case I ever wanted to sell it. I couldn't sell it I'm having to much fun with it.

I just picked up a 1999 Mustang GT 5 speed Convertible for 3500 bucks and that was the cheapest new edge Gt with a manual I have seen on craigslist in FOREVER. So getting $5k for a 2 years newer coupe should be no problem at all. Id post it for $5500, you could probably get more than $5k in my area.

Here's pretty much how she sits. Nothing new done except exhaust work and cue ball shifter.

meh, just build and boost this car. You will have more fun that way rather then having a mint cobra that your 2 worried about scratching and putting unnecessary miles on to enjoy

I only paid $4400 for it couple months ago. Had 77K miles. Few minor problems. Slowly fixing them one by one.
