1999 double din conversion

Just finished converting my '99 to a double din with a pioneer nav head unit. I used a 2004 radio bezel. It doesnt seem to match up with my shifter bezel. Has anyone else done this and did you have to use a 01-04 shifter bezel?

I did this in mine when I first bought the car. Yea I have the same issue with the shift bezel. Doesn't bother me too much since I have no radio or speakers. My music is the exhaust notes and supercharger whine and bov

I think you have to shave the tabs so they are not as wide.

This is what I did out of boredom one day, fabricated a bracket and it pops in and out with ease, its an LG gpad 7.0, fits PERFECT in the space, its hooked up to 4g so constant internet connection , couldn't be happier with it

Car speakers, its actually a pretty simple concept. There's plenty of space back behind there, so I have a hidden head unit back there, with a cable that's tied into the tablet, volume is controlled by the tablet, but if I ever want to change the bass/treb/etc, I just gotta pop out the plastic bezel and mess with it..takes me probably 3 minutes in total to get to the head unit and change the settings, I very very rarely change the settings tho.
