You have Nice new electronic equipment there too, lol. The muffler will probably be ok as long as It's not all the way through and doesn't leak. They will just have a less of a life if there already rusting. That's one of the pleasures of flowmasters.

Just changed the mid pipe. I didn't want to risk the mufflers. Sounds a bit better. But it's catted and still got service engine light?

My car smells like straight up gas after I got my catted x pipe installed and I also have the check engine although that is because the sensors is not reach. When I tell you it smells like I guess I soon as I start I up I mean it. Can it be running rich or is it possible the cats were hollowed out and I was not told?

That would be my guess as the gutted cats are basically non functioning more leftover fuel is going to pass thru. Most catless cars have stink due the excess fuel not being burnt off, that's part of the catalytic converters job. I had to get used to the smell too right after I got my Mach 1 (divorced duals, no cats into flow 40's).

Now keep in mind if you just notice it during startup and immediately after she turns over it's normal, but if you smell fuel all the time the car could be running rich due to your O2 sensors being thrown off, which should be adjusted so you're running properly.

Well to be sure I'd get a scanner on that CEL and determine what it is.
If it's throwing a P0172 and/or P0175 codes, then you're running rich.

Sounds way better throughout the rev band. A bit louder and way better tone. Will try to get a video in a bit.

That sounds great. I'm not a fan of the Borla exhaust, they sound a little funny to me an are constantly loud, stock is obviously not enough. You found the perfect happy medium. She's gonna sound mean as hell when you get on it.

Not Borlas. I heard a 2v with Borlas the other day and wow I loved it but yea it was really loud. I think that would get irritating after a while for a DD. As for the video it really does no justice.
