PATS...or Nah?

Just did the 5.4 swap from a v6...yes it's a SOHC. Anyways, my theft light stays on constantly. Car starts and runs fine. It doesn't ever blink I don't even think it blinks when I open the door. Need some advice on how to get it to go off.

I have heard a tuner can get it turned off or taking it to a dealer. Also removing the light bulb works as well, lol, or some electrical tape.

Mine does the same thing after I did my engine replacement, except my car shuts the fuel pump off after its initial "key on" burst of fuel that the fuel pump gives it. The car used to start up for like 5 seconds and then die of fuel starvation. Then I said enough of this computerized bull honkey, im replacing this **** with an edelbrock 1406. Lived happily ever after.

Well mine kinda does that now..the other day it wasn't getting any fuel pressure but now I don't know what happened. I left it alone for a day and now it cranks and runs fine

That's good to hear! How is it with the 5.4? Have you got to do any WOT pulls?

Im curious to know how you like it. I was considering a 5.4 swap when the day comes for me to swap motors. so far the 4.6 is still goin strong.

I bet it will benefit a lot from a tune if you notice that the top end seems to lean out a little bit

Well I haven't been able to drive it much yet. Tranny is having problems and haven't ran any exhaust yet. Did a small pull in 1st and 2nd and It felt good. Love the sound though..even with the open manifolds
