Horsepower from different rockers?

I am just wondering if 4.6 2vs can gain any power from a different ratio set of roller/rockers? Is it worth it if they do gain any from a different ratio rocker? I think in an overhead cam car they are called followers.
Either way, basically the same concept.
I think stock is 1.81:1 which seems generous already but who knows. Its worth a shot since they are so easy to replace and not real expensive to buy when you work at an auto parts store like I do lol
