All season? Performance? Size? What do you plan to do with car? DD, drag race, auto cross, etc?

Preferably an all season. Just plan on it being a daily driver. No racing or anything like that.

Is it a stock tire size? Being a 245/45 17 I assume. There are plenty of options on an all season in that size. I had a set of Toyo extensa HP tires on my mustang previously with my stock wheels and they were a decent tire for sure and not super expensive. Kuhmo Also makes decent all season tires for that size as well.

Check out tire rack and see what they list they should have both of what I mentioned. Then call around locally like discount tire, belle, pep boys etc and price match them as most of those places will price match online prices.

Sumitomo Also makes a decent all season from what I have heard I have never owned them though.

Even check your local Craigslist as at times there are good deals to be had on there. I've picked up slightly used tires on there before and it worked out for me at like 75% off retail lol

Thanks, I appreciate it. Yes they are the stick size. I found a set of Kumho ecsta ast at Discount tire for about $380, haven't bought them yet, Just getting opinions and reviews on what others liked on their mustangs.

The Sumitomo HTR Z II that I have are considered a summer tire but they have actually been lasting quite a bit. I've only put around 7k miles on them so far but quite a bit of those miles were mountain driving and autocross. And they still look brand new (aside from the obvious stress marks you see from being abused on rough surfaces)

I had the kuhmos on a srt4 a while back and they were a good all season tire. Handled well in wet, snow, etc. Sounds like a good price. You probably won't find much cheaper than that.
