coolant

quick noob question
do u add coolant when the vehicle is cold and off or after its warmed up and on? just noticed its a couple inches below the line but its off and cold rite now

Well if the car is warm and off odds are you open that cap depressurize the tank and it will all boil over. I have always done it with the car running

You can add it while cold. Any that expands will go into the overflow tank and then be sucked back in when cold.
