Super 44s vs 10s

I'm currently stock I'm just starting to mod my car. All I have is magnaflow catted hollowed x pipe.

Going to be getting muffler on today I've been debating for some time on which one to get either 10 or 44 I'm leaning more 44s because of the deeper muscle sound. Everyone I've spoken to says 10 but they also state they are too loud and because it's one chamber which is almost like straight through. Any have heard these with magnaflow mid any ideas or suggestions?

It's hard to get real good comparisons because the videos don't usually do justice for the sound. Many people don't like the Flowmasters as much anymore because "so many people have them", but I disagree. It seems like now they are not seen as often. They have an old musclecar kinda sound. The 10's will definitly be loud as hell. With an X pipe, they will be a bit raspy too. The Magnaflows are deeper sounding and not quite as loud. The Magnapacks are louder, but still deeper than Flowmaster. I like a cleaner and deeper exhaust sound personally and prefer Magnaflows over Flowmaster. Your best bet is to search YouTube and try to pick out one that sounds good to you and go with that. Be careful about the really loud setups. Make sure you really want it that loud because it might be bothersome once the coolness factor wears off. Same is true if the cops are really strict on loud exhausts. You don't want to have to tiptoe everywhere you go just because you'll get a ticket.

I've searched for super 44s and magnaflow x and no luck there . I want to be able to set off car alarms and scare little children if that helps. Just not overly loud like slps and 10s

I have an offroad h with Flowmaster 44s. Sounds great. It's loud but super deep driving around town. When I really get on the throttle you can hear that hollow sound and a bit of rasp in it. Not too much rasp. It'll be crazy with an x pipe though. It doesn't quite set off alarms though.

I can set off car alarms pretty easily lol. I can also glide through a church parking lot if I use low throttle and don't let the RPM's get above 2k. I have Borla S-type (Stingers) and an off road H pipe with stock manifolds. I think it would be just a bit louder if I had headers. I like it, but I like Magnaflows too.

Initially that was to be my setup. But I got a good deal on the catted x. I just want an idea of how loud it will be. Hopefully louder than now I just have the x pipe and stock mufflers.

It'll definitely be louder. Since you still have cats though it probably won't set off alarms, but it'll be louder.

I like my magnaflows. They are deep, a little raspy but not too bad. If I changed my off road pipe from a BBK x to a UPR x I think it would be perfect and less rasp.

I think Magnaflows sound deeper myself. It's all subject to opinion though.

Magnaflow a are generally smoother. I've noticed Flowmasyer usually has a more tinny sound, which can be a good thing or bad thing depending on the person. I like it.

I went with the 44s. Should arrive tommorow. Also when I installed my x pipe o2 sensors did not reach. So I have the cel on. The car lets off a horrible smell can't this be caused by the sensors or the cats being gutted?

I run them on my F250 with a 5.4 3V Triton and my wife's Tundra with a 4.7 they are great quality and sound for the price.

This is true I like to hear them off the rocky sides of mountain back roads or in parking garages downtown!

Good choice on the 44s. Even though I don't run them, they do sound good.

I'm strongly thinking of going to an off road H. A guy at work has one with flowmasters I'm not sure which flows cause he doesn't know but it sounds really really good. I would be using the magnapacks I have with an off road h in my setup I think it would sound good and get rid of some of the raspiness.

Offroad h sounds great on these cars. I personally hate the sound of an x pipe on a 2v

I just received them. Will be getting them installed tommorrow. I am worried tho because all my piping is stock so 2.25 not sure if that will affect the sound. Also I plan on sticking with this setup for a while because I will be moving on to wheels, lowering and other mods afterwards so I really hope I like the sound of the 44s with the magnaflow x
