Like he said. Start by checking your oil. Make sure It's not just an exhaust or vacuum leak or something simple.

Oil is fine just go in the car started it to go to work and bam has a loud knock

Process of elimination, pull a plug wire or disconnect a COP one at a time then raise the idle, if the knock goes away when you pull the plug wire or cop, sorry but more than likely you got a bad rod bearing.

Sounds like a rod bearing to me, like i said pull the plug wire one at a time and rev the engine each time, if it goes away, it's more than likely a rod bearing.
