like i said someone wants to trade me an 03 g35 sedan 5at. I like the car and it has got some get up and go. But they seem to have a lot of non mechanical problems, which is a good thing they say motor will run for a long time if maintained. But alot of the little things on the interior and whatnot....

what do you guys think? anyone ever owned a g35?

I'd like to have one. Or a 370z is why I almost got before this coyote. I'd drive and and have it checked out and if it's something you like and would be happy with I'd go for it

Yeah, I would rather have a 6 speed coupe, but kids are tight enough in the mustang, I could imagine how it would be in the back of a coupe. I just here about all these minor problems. Good thing is supposedly the motor and tranny are good to go for the most part

I had an auto silver 05 g35 coupe before my gt. Personally I wouldn't go back. But it depends a lot on your needs and wants. The gt just feels faster plus it's a manual. The g35 does have way to many electrical problems at least mine did. And not as much aftermarket for them as a gt. My personal way to think of it is wherever I go my mustang make a presence and it stands out and makes a statement. Where as infinities and Lexus are every nowadays from 16 year old girls to 60 yr old grandmas. Poor mans luxury car as I also previously had a 07 335i. The Infiniti will never match bmws luxury , performance or refinement. But then again bmws are everywhere nowadays as well. I went with the statement with the gt. Like I said your needs and wants are what matters. Peoples opinions shouldn't matter unless they are purchasing it for you. Just my opinion.

If you have a reliable performance car right now, hold onto it. You don't want a used up plastic sports car from 13 years ago :/ If your mustang is treating you well at all, just stick with the proven. The only way up from a decently reliable/ fast car is a brand new performance car.

You will kick yourself if you get that and its anything less than the stang

Most of the time if someone wants to trade a car its because they arnt happy with what they got, ask urself why is that person not happy with it and also you know whatever issues ur stang has and if its not a serious issue then do u really wanna risk trading ur car thats not bad for a car that could have some serious issues, and even if u go look at it its not gaurenteed that its not just booger'd up jus to get it sold/traded, not to mention working on it room under the hood is alot less then ur stang... I just think its a bad idea unless the other car is what u really want very bad and are willing to deal with any serious issue that it may have either way goodluck on whichever u choose to do

I seriously would not do it. You never know what you are getting with used cars. You could be trading your nice stang for a Lemon of a problem car.

I have been bit in the *** by deals like this way too many times to not warn you. Never trade off a reliable car, especially if its a fast/fun car like a mustang GT.

Theres a reason he wants to trade you, and its not because the Infiniti is better than your current car

Any car can be made to go fast. Why so much hp? You can barely use it anyway. Infiniti and Lexus are both nice but very boring and dull cars. I've driven both and that my opinion.

This is Murica v8> anything else

That is so true. My grandpa has a 3 cylinder Geo. Hauled *** on a 75 shot for almost an entire 10 seconds!

I owned a 370z and didn't have any major issues although it did seem to have a lot of rattles. My mustang has some too but not as bad (although he mustang had a lot less miles).

One thing I will say about the 370zs and I would assume the Infiniti counterpart would be similar is aftermarket parts are extremely expensive and seem to have a premium car tax. So if you like to mod that's one thing to consider.

And you can get a lemon with any used car but I've never understood trading cars just because. I would much rather sell my current car and find another I like instead of settling for a car that the owner is willing to trade.

If you trade your mustang for something, it better be a 1998+ corvette or an LS1 camaro. You will regret any other trade in even the best case scenario

U can use all the hp u want providing u have good suspension to put it down, and the trips to the track are alot better in a mustang then the other car, price of mods.. The mustang is just a far superior platform if u where to trade make it more even and get a ls1 car of ur choice but anything less isnt worth it imo ... Maybe a honda s2k or a 240sx with a sr20 swap ect ( if u want rwd import)
