Fleabay Clutch kit?

Hey guys I am wondering how much of a "no-no" these cheap clutches are. I just need something that is going to last me a year or two until I get out of college and can buy a vette.

The TOB is out on my current clutch and I am going to drop the trans as soon as the snow clears out. Thanks guys!

I don't get a "warm and fuzzy" feeling when I look at that clutch...
But who knows?

If you want to fix it "on the cheap", or try to anyway, I'd take it apart before ordering any parts. Your car may already have a POS clutch kit in it and maybe just the throw out bearing is bad and you can just replace it with a good Ford OEM part, and a pilot bearing, and put it back together. If the clutch wasn't chattering or slipping before the TOB went out, and if it still looks like there is a decent amount clutch material on the disc, it will probably last a couple more years.

Yeah I see what you are saying. If I ordered stuff before taking it apart though, it would just be an entire clutch to make it easy. My thought is that a TOB alone is $50. This kit comes with plate, both bearings, and basket

Look on American Muscle. They have better named brands for not much more, and they come with everything also.
