Bearings

Has anyone changed rod bearings with the engine still in the car?

Not on an 01 but if the pan comes out your golden and it's easy

Thanks hopefully comes out easy I haven't checked.i just wanted know how hard it would be before I lift the car up

Ah that sucks usually changing the bearing not gonna help a lot. As long as bearing metal transferred to the crank but no major gouges you can clean the crank. Usually the rod isn't salvageable. If all that's ok I would also roll some main bearings in and look into new oil pump.
