Yea I can't wait to get rid of the cats. I really don't have a reason to get rid of them other than to sound better. They function just fine. It may be a tiny bump in HP but nothing I'd ever feel. I did have MPT tune for it though and eliminate the O2 sensors. On the flip side since we're talking about intakes, I did read and take to heart cliffyks guide to bolt on basics. However, now that I have my intake opened up with the plenum and TB I have read that the factory piping isn't the greatest any more. Any thoughts on this?

I rebuilt my Oem cops for $30 lol. If they are firing well, they'll continue to fire well after being rebuilt. Its almost always the boot and spring that cause them to fail.

A guy who cruises in the Mustang Club I am in has a Boss Laguna Seca. He dyno'd his with different intakes and lost 8 HP versus stock CAI. The larger tubes by aftermarket makes reduce velocity and cause a loss in power with the Boss N/A setup. Now Forced Induction a good intake would definitely make a difference!

You'll feel the gains from the tune for sure 35 hp seems like a lot though!

It may feel like 35 HP though I know a good tune on a Coyote really wakes them up! More aggressive feel I'm not sure if it's any significant difference in Actual HP though!

The power gain will be from the tune, not the intake.
