Nitrous okay?

I got a nitrous kit from my girlfriend, even better I didn't ask for it.. But I'm concerned about putting it on..

I've never sprayed before so I need a run down on all the things I need to watch out for... The car itself has every bolt on you can think of minus heads or an upgraded intake.. I have upgraded fuel injectors..

Is there anything internally I should worry about? The system comes with different jets ranging from 10-150hp

wet or dry shot?
if wet, then you are fine just use 100 shot most to be safe. 150 if you like to live dangerous.
if dry, do as much reading as you can. dry without a tun can end up running very lean and overheat the hell out of your engine.
either way, if you dont have them, you want to invest in things like a window switch, a tank warmer, and... there was something else but i forgot what.

wet is when you have a gas and nitrous line spraying into your intake.
dry is when its just the nitrous line. you need more fuel (which can be handled by your upgraded injecors, a tune, and usually need an upgraded fuel pump)

hope this helps.

To run the kit safely hoping she got you a wet kit, make sure to have a window switch set to activate at 3,000rpm is best for safety of components, get a purge kit, nitrous pressure gauge and a bottle heater. You want to keep bottle pressure at or near 950psi. The higher over 950psi you are the leaner the mixture of fuel and vise versa. You got a nice gf the only think my wife ever got me for the car was headlights haha and a sequential tail light harness. Also if your going to run a 150 shot even if it is a wet kit upgrade the fuel pump and get a nitrous tune.

Have you thought about buying that woman a ring and popping the question?

Just like any other power adder make sure you have a fuel system that will support the power, a good tune that has been revised to make sure your timing and a/f is good, and get a step colder plugs. First thing on our cars that will break from to much power is our rods at about 400 rear wheel horsepower. So whatever rwhp you are at now add a shot to that or a tad bit below 400. Be prepared to feel your torque monster wake up in 4th gear, nitrous is probably the best power adder ever and safest on a good set up and tune.

How much spare cash you got? If I were you, I would go out and spend every penny of it on a ring lol. The fact that she got you a nitrous kit says a lot. My gf wont even go to car shows with me lol

Invest in a bottle opener. Purge it somewhere cool and keep it at 100. My 97 cobra purged out the snakes mouth that I installed in the grill. My arming switch was hid under the ashtray lid and purge was installed in the lighter compartment. Total stealth until purged. Pure adrenaline at WOT.

Yeah man errbody knows that nitrous oxide is super flammable and can spontaneously combust!! I know a guy who is running a dragster 100% on nozz mannnnn. No gasoline necessary just lots of nozz juice. U should see it brah, its a 1998 civic hatch with a B16 1.6L and a farty pipe and big spoiler. Hes kind of our local drift king. He might even be getting a manual swap trans sometime in the next few years if he can find a mechanic who knows how to work on crazy race carz like his

Yeah Im not gonna marry my GF until Im sure I can still be me afterwards..

Once you get married, its pretty much bye bye to sex, so I better damn well have my cars and ****. I don't need 1 more person telling me wtf to do all day.. I already have a job and already live in a police state so I might as well just put a gun in my mouth if I lose any more freedom.

This is unrelated to the nitrous but do the make any kits to make the seats slide back further? I'm 6'5 and she's 6'2 so we've got pretty limited leg room

plus you have a kid in your profile pic which is another thing that makes you seem older. I was guessing you were like 30 so not too far off I guess. Cuz I know a guy who has a kid that is the same height as yours and he is 30. lol that sounds like a really dumb reason, but w/e
