Cars jerking

So at high speeds and/or I floor it at high speeds my car jerks. This used to happen when I had an exhaust leak but I fixed it. Any other problems causing this?

Does the engine RPM change erratically?

High engine speeds? or high vehicle speeds?

Could be anything from driveline slop to a misfire weak fuel pump messed up clutch or some EFI problem

Well my TOB has been making a noise and it's at around 70 mph is when it starts so if I floor it at 70 it'll jerk a little.

First of all, scan for any trouble codes.
Like Panther said, it could be a lot of things, but if there are no codes, I would check the charging system first, and then do a fuel pressure test.

What do your RPMs do when you floor it?

Go up the same speed. The needle doesn't stop or slow down, I'll double check.

This happened to me and it turned out the tip of the spark plug broke off. Also when i changed my plugs i changed the wires (03 v6) And that fixed it.
The car would jerk at highway speeds or under a heavy load so might want to check that

Yeah check them plugs man. start out with the really basic stuff like plugs, coolant, oil, and battery test.

Any of those things can cause it to run bad. Overheat and detonate or just plain old misfire.

I changed my plugs, check coolant and oil. I know my battery is good, but I'll still do a test just in case.

if you are at low rpm, say 35mph at 4th gear (stock gears assuming) and then you floor it, does it stutter and shake? or does it just grunt and try to accelerate slowly?
