Traded the roush in for a 5.0!

I've been doing a lot of thinking lately about what all has been discussed on this forum and why building the 2v 4.6 just wasn't worth it. So this past week or so I set out to find me a 2011 5.0. And today was the day! Click image for larger version

Was so worth it after driving back 2 hours and getting a feel for the car.

The new edge was a great car to learn how to mod and get my foot into the door on mustangs.

Not going to lie the stock suspension makes it feel like a boat but then again nothing on my Roush's suspension was stock. The interior though omg! I knew the new edge interior was really outdated but so well worth it and now I actually have headrests....

Take the head rests off for weight reduction bro. Good for at least a tenth in the 1320...

I will say out of the late model pony cars (Ford, Bowtie, Dodge), Ford really gave the Mustang the shaft on its suspension.

First major mod I did to my 2010 was a $1500 suspension overhaul. That was 9 months ago. Just did a $1500 cam swap. As much as I love my new lopey race car, I'm still loving my suspension.

The funny part is since we negotiated for a few hours he gave me the same amount I paid for the car when I bought it 2 years ago in Hawaii.

Eventually i will probably go a similar route. Gonna pass on the 4.6 3v and just go for 5.0 when the time comes. But sadly, that may be a good while. When the time comes, i wanna pay cash for it. no car payments. At least i know i have a good 2v that will be reliable until i get there.

See I kept thinking that and thinking that on why I should keep the roush but after sitting in a few and test driving different cars the age really started showing and it really bothered me.

I had the same thoughts while test driving a 14. I immediately left the dealership and never went back! Lol

Cool dude!
Well, let's see some pictures of the new ride, before you depart to the anals of the mosh pit that is known as the 2011-2014 GT forum.
