Bad Rap?

Will people give me crap if I put a roush windshield sticker on my car? It's a 04 gt with roush front fascia and side exhaust.

People will always give other people crap. The question to ask yourself is "Do I like it?" If the answer is yes then mentally or actually flip off the people who are like "Roush? More like ******!" 8/10 times if you saw their car (if they have one) you could probably make them want to slit their wrist with insults because these people are ****in morons and morons don't get or at least don't keep nice cars for very long.

Bad Rap?

My friend, it's been stated already, but just think of it like this...
People who criticize normally are jealous/********. Put what ever you want on your car. It's your car not theirs, they have no say in what you do, and they never will. They don't pay for your gas, maintenance, mods, or insurance, so their opinion is basically worthless. The ONLY opinion that matters about your car is yours, and yours alone. If you want to paint it pink and put a tutu on it go ahead, it's your car, it's your say or no say...
Take this from a genuine Roush owner, I have absolutely no problem with what you are planning on doing, I don't even care if you pass it as a real Roush. The way I look at it every Roush was a GT at one time, yours just got a late start/ a late bloomer...

I think putting Roush stickers on your Mustang is OK. Roush is an aftermarket parts supplier as well so Roush stuff on a Mustang is totally appropriate.

Okay guys thanks for the confidence haha. One more question. What makes a real roush a roush? Is there more than just the styling of it?

It depends on the year too I'm sure. I will have to look it up now. I know for sure not all the new edge ones had a sc. But they had different stages of them like 1,2,3 so I'm not completely sure.

I'm not totally sure what all they did to them to be honest. Like steve said they came in stages which is why you'll see people post that they have a stage 1, 2, or 3 Roush. I know the stage 3 has a whipple supercharger on it but as for the rest *shrug* never really dug too deep cause the little I saw screamed "YOUR PAYING FOR A NAME" and I prefer to pay for power.

Whenever I would get a sneer or ill comment towards a mod or change I did to one of my vehicles, I'd hold out my palm to that person. When they asked me what I was doing, I'd state that I was asking them for my next monthly payment on the car. If they wanted their opinion to count, they were going to have to help with its cost.

Lol who the hell would give somebody crap for ANY mod on their car? id say that person is really petty and childish.

disclaimer: I still reserve the right to be angry at the unpleasant sounds of rice cannons on 1.6L civics, as well as laugh at outragious ricer type mods.

other than that though. you can put a god damn cummins sticker on your mustang and I wont give a turd

It depends. Some of them just had appearance upgrades and some had performance upgrades as well. I see v6 roushs all the time that aside from appearance just had exhaust. So from you cant put all roushs in the same bucket. You really need to get down to which model your interested in.

Stage 1 is just body kit
Stage 2 adds suspension
Stage 3 adds blower.

Or like my old roush. 427r is a stage 3 also

Stage one has the body kit+side exhaust and what ever else the owner added when they bought the car from the dealer such as 18s and a short shifter.

Stage 2 comes with every thing stage 1 did but with suspension upgrades. Which were lower control arms, springs, struts and shocks.

Stage 3 came every thing 1 and 2 came with just with the edition of a blower.

All Roush's from 99-04 came with the magnaflow side exhaust. Even the V6 did. Some of the stage 2-3 in later years came with spin tech mufflers which gave them a more aggressive sound. The only ones that didn't come with side exhaust was the 360r and 440r. Roush also put on their wheels on the cars as well a lot of the v6's and some v8's came with the stock type 5 spoke non chrome onesClick image for larger version

Stages 2-3 came with the chrome 18x9's which some stage 1's did if the buyer at the time wanted to upgrade. Now a very few stage 3's came with a staggered set up of 18x9/10. Like the ones I have but non-staggered Click image for larger version

True and I get that but not a lot of people know that. That's why a lot ask if a 360r was just a Roush clone and some one put a decal on the side.

Still need the rear wing, rear valances and side skirts for the body kit to complete.

Or say it's an N/A 360R, 380R, or 440A (I know I'm forgetting one)... They didn't have the rear valance, in other words stock GT rear valance, I'm glad too, the side exhaust didn't look good to me. Well, they could've done better, I should say...
Also you're missing graphics, interior, badges, shifter, wheels, and instrument cluster, just to let you know...
I'm aware all three of them are supercharged and have a Roush fuel system (360R might had it), just throwing the idea out there...
