Exclamation 04 mustang gt tires???

So i was thinking about the next tires i would want to get and thinking about what purposes i would want for them and i came up with i want a tire that is good in cornering, has a lot of traction, able to go high speeds, ok in the rain, and still has a good life span, i want some opinions on which tires i should get and why. Thank you
p.s i have 18x10 sve drifts in the back and 18x9 in front, want widest i can get in back for most traction. Wanted to start a new tread on this because i couldn't find a thread that was up to date about what i want.

Get some nitto invos and buy some track bite from jegs. Invos are one of the best cornering tires, they can be easily driven in rain, last a long time, and when you want to go drag racing just spray track bite on them and they will hook almost as good as drag radials.

Dunlop Direzza ZII, Falken Azenis RT-615k, BFG G Force Rivals, Hankook Ventus R-S3

All of those are great cornering tires. The Invo is good, but more entry level. The tires I mentioned have good durability and stick very well.

As for sizing it all depends on the tire. A nitto i would go with 265 wide up front and 295 wide in back. But for the BFG Rival the optimal size would actually be 235 or 245 wide up front on the 9" then 275 on the 10"

Im really thinking about the bfg gforce rivals, what are yours guys opinion on that, do you know what the speed rating is and how long do you think the tire will last ne with spirtited driving on the road and some nights at the track maybe 7 times a year or so?

04 mustang gt tires???

The rivals will give you about 15k miles give or take depending on your driving. If it's mostly on the street you won't beat them up enough to really destroy them.

Hankook Ventus RS-3. So far those have been my favorite tires I had on the car. They had great traction and we're very quiet all things considered. They hooked better than my buddies Toyo Proxy R1Rs did.

Ok. Trying to gauge what would work best on a 10" all around.

Can you for a 10" up front? I had plenty of tire for my suspension and power level when I was tracking my car. A 10" seems a little excessive to me, but that's just my opinion

I'm going to try to test fit my 10" up front, if it fits and drives well i'll get a set of 10" all around. If not, may try to find a set of 9.5" all around. The car has the suspension, just needs better grip.
