Be careful about comments like that on this forum. Unlike all my other mustang forums, this one swings towards automatics. You've been warned! :p

Congrats on the car! Looks really nice.

Really recon? You've never heard Scotty give his ol' "oh you like manuals, guess we know you've never been to a track" speech before?

This forum defiantly swings auto but I'm with ya Vincenzo; I like manuals too. Just a more "connected" feeling.

Really nice car man. One of my favorite colors! I'm jealous. What does 97km translate to miles? I assume miles are less, does that mean It's around 75k or so in miles? Sorry for my ignorance. If That's the case and it Looks really clean from the pics you got a great deal. Judging from the mustang's equivalent in my area anyway.

I know it quicker in drag racing, which I'm not much on strait lines, and yes the paddle shift cars are quicker on a circuit. I really don't care for automatics, and I never will. I've always have more fun driving a manual than an automatic. Autos are boring to me, makes feel like the car is driving itself. Manual, I feel like I control the car, I choose where to shift, and which gear I want. And the excitement when you perform a perfect gear change/heel toe. Which I'm so used to a manual, that I feel unnatural in an auto car, being it doesn't have a clutch pedal. Plus, in my opinion, a manual trans car will make a person a better driver overall...
Which if a person has a medical issue or lost a limb, I understand why they would need an auto...
Just my .02 on the trans matter...

I don't want to be "that guy", but did he show you a dyno sheet for the 297hp?

FYI when he listed his mods he did write "there's other stuff I forgot". So depending on what he forgot to mention it's possible.

One thing is for sure. It NEEDS cams to get to that power level. That's not usually something someone forgets to mention.

Nice ride, my 1st car was a 1970 Ford Custom 500, it was dark blue except for the Left front fender which was a lighter blue due to being replaced from a different car. Paid 500 for it in 1978.

It would have to have cams to produce that kind of power I would think. Maybe it does

Finally !

So stage 5 cams only and a 37hp increase? Ah, it needs more mods or those aren't stage 5s. Which it should have ported heads right?
Possibly...

Stage 5 cams?

You got fooled dude. Cams that big require new internals, and it won't drive well without ported heads. You will make 330+ like that.
