Steeda Udp

Are they worth the $185 I found them for on eBay? There new. I wanna just do a couple good mods and be done (tune, full exhaust, maybe plenum or something) but do these really do anything that you can feel? Worth it??

From what I have seen on here people have been happy with them and felt a little bump in power. They free up power more than "give" you power.

Don't they cause charging and cooling issues? That's my biggest thing I think about.

no issues. a lot of people feel better leaving the stock alternator pulley on. ive had my car sit in traffic on a hot day with the a/c on and my temp needle didnt budge above normal temp. it reduces the parasitic draw of power to the wheels. the stock pulley system loses supposedly 10hp to the wheels, (compared to the steedas) the UDP's are supposed to get that 10 back.

stock hp is 260, stock dyno rating usually 221 give or take, so according to their advertising, you get a peak hp of 231 with them. i never tested them, but i have em. people say it feels like it gets a bit more power and response than stock.

also do the plenum and throttle body next if your looking for throttle response. save your money and dont bother with a cold air intake unless you want the look/sound.

Just leave stock alt pulley on like stated above to minimize chance of charging issues. I don't have them but was thinking about it.

I would still be concerned with cooling. I was data logging one day and it was only about 85* OAT and my intake temp at the MAF was 130* and coolant and tranny were 200* this was in traffic. Come summer and its 100* outside I can't imagine a slowed down water pump working to well. My only thought to fix this would be get a high flow water pump and a 3 core radiator.
