Stock H Pipe Question

I have the stock h pipe on my car with 4 cats on it. If I cut the back two out and straight pipe them would it just get alittle louder or sound stupid?

It will get louder.. if you want them gone then I would get an off road h or x pipe.

When I bought my car it had off road x pipe, I took it off bought high flo cats welded them into the off road x pipe. It made the sound quieter. So removing will increase sound. Or vice versa like I mentioned.

Personally I would spend the money, and just get a nice off-road H or X pipe. If you can get alway with it (no emission testing in MN FTW). I'm running an off-road H pipe, with M80 race mufflers. Sounds wicked!

Thanks I know! But that's what I really wanted before coming here. Now it feels like I copied someone. Don't worry I'm thinking after the summer maybe 10s or 40s

You can remove 2 of the cats or all 4 for that matter but choose some type of muffler. Those 2V's sound way too good with some chambered or straight thru mufflers to just run straight pipes.

I personally think the Magnaflow Magnapacks with and o/r H sound amazing on them, but the Flows and Borlas sound damn good to.

If you want loud with current setup, you have 3 options. 1. Take your pipe off gut all the cats out and reattach basically you'll have a off road H pipe but with cats showing for emissions. 2 cut cats out and straight pipe from the cutter out cat beginning to end and you'll have an off road H pipe. Or 3. Buy a off road H pipe have it installed. And I didn't write it to sound sarcastic but those are the best options for both emission passing and loudness oh btw mil eliminator.. Oh BTW if you cut just rear out you won't be doing yourself any favors. Unless you gut them and reattach lol.

Since all the aftermarket pipes only have 2 cats... it will not sound stupid, just louder. I'd just get an OR pipe and keep the stocker for emissions testing. Or get a good catted pipe and call it a day and never have to worry about a cop who is having a real bad day poking his/her head under your car and towing you because no cats.
