I dunno if you like it go for it. I never smoked the lights on my Atlantic Blue 98 and I always thought they looked good. Might look better on the dark green tho.

This looks better than the Raxioms... at least in these pics you've been posting. May be a completely different story in person but I dunno... Ford nailed the NE, I think its one of the best looking cars ever made.

Anyway... OP should give the tinted lights a shot. Pull a spare set off a V6 in a JY and have those done so if you hate it you can just swap back.

Hmmm they do look better there. If I buy that black Mach, might be something to consider.

The auto is a plus to me. I have a flaky left knee and if I set it up for straight line the manual is a liability.

Just did mine today actually earlier today.
I used Nightshade it's a like a transparent thing for lights.
Worked well.
Saved lots of money instead of buying the pre-tinted lights from like AM

Looks better in person, I just have a really bad phone.

If it's too dark, just use less coat.

Would have to see up close. Almost all the VHT jobs I've seen the person did not wet sand and they had that "tack" or scratchy feel to them. Maybe yours are nicer, can't tell.

And if you need a new phone... androids are getting real cheap these days even outright. Like $200 new cheap. Anyway.

Wet sanding makes a hell of a lot of difference. Let me see if I can find pics of when I had VHT on mine.

That looks really good, I like the dark red. Did you just do a couple light coats?

Also in for result pics OP, the smoked tails should look great with the green.

Call me strange, but I don't care for smoked tails on NE's. I think stock red looks awesome. I do run smoked up front tho.
