Hi guys I've been debating this for a while. I feel like the black good decal is out of place I've been thinking about removing it. The front looks nice but I have the stock wheels and I just think it doesn't look as good as it should. Plus sometime I think I'm trying to make it look like a Mach 1 which I'm not but I have the black outs for the back as well just just haven't put it because I'm not going for Mach 1 look I just like it blacked out like the 335i which was white on black.

What do you guys think should I remove it, is it too much? I like it but I think it just looks out of place, if I do remove it I'll just get another one this summer when I get the black saleen wheels and lower it. Open to anything whether you think it looks good or bad or stupid just tell me thanks

I don't think it looks too bad...trust me, you could do a lot worse lol.

I would agree though, some black wheels would definitely help the decal blend better. Also some dark smoked headlights would look good with it too.

But it's your car, if you don't like it and want to try a new look take it off. Those decals aren't that expensive and are easy to put back on if you ever wanted to put one back on.

Well the Mach 1's don't have any black accents on the rear from the factory, but they do have the matte black strip with the pin stripe surround. Even so I wouldn't call the one hood stripe you had on trying to clone a mach or anything.

I will say that a silver GT with a 1.5-2" drop, anthracite or black/chome lip wheels, smoked lights and the mach 1 grille/chin spoiler (which you already have) looks clean as hell. Simple but makes a statement.

Agreed. That's what I plan on doing. I've always like the on black stealthy look on cars but when I got my GT I did not even know what mach1 was. So kind off don't really want to blackout too much I have a GT not a Mach. But yea lower, and these are the wheels in getting. I'm going to Cuba for the first time this summer so it's going to have to wait a bit lol. Click image for larger version

^ definitely. I love a yellow and black combo too, nice car.

I have a black center decal on my v6 (...may or may not mainly been to hide some chips...) I think it looks kinda wonky with hood scoops.

I ended up vynling that lip by the grille delete and doing the lower lips too. I was happy but I constantly questioning any black on the hood. I am going to vynl the roof black here very soon. Maybe I'll have to have something black on my hood then lol.

My front scoops painted (fully functional scoop/cut out) and goes all the way down the hood which looks a bit better imo. I also did full back blackout recently. I like the look and get compliments all the time. Imo yours looks better than it did! Also if you have more black accents on the car the better it will look.

It will cost less than $75 to upgrade to the 18's...trust me, it's worth it. I think 18's are the perfect size for the new edge design. I won't buy 17's again.

These are pretty sweet. My brother-in-law's 01 GT has the same style stripes but they are solid with the GT cutouts in them, similar to the stripes the '00 Spring Edition GT's had.

I really like the pin stripe outline on yours. A chin spoiler would set them off nicely.

Try checking a site called OEwheels. They have some good pricing, 17s are almost the same price as 18s. I'm sure they come out of the same China factory as the ones AM sells etc. I have a staggered set of anthracite bullits I got from them 3 years ago and they have held up remarkably well, no issues at all. I'm not sure if they have the style you want but I bet they do, they have all the major styles of mustang wheels. Just something to check out if your wheel shopping.

Definitely some good pricing! However I'm not to sure about the 18s, 17s and lowered looks pretty good to me haha maybe I have seen enough new edges with 18s here
