So yeah this IRS is LEGIT. Real clean, poly subframe bushings, new poly bushings for the rest, upgrades me to rear Cobra brakes, front 03 style support and stainless brake lines.

Came with a 3" MAC exhaust I am probably going to sell or trade for a 2.5". Friend at work is selling a Magnaflow which I'll buy if he's selling soon.

Nice. If I had a new edge I'd do the IRS also.

For some reason when I saw it I thought it was a legit Steeda spoiler but now I see "style" in there meaning it's similar but a knock off. I just thought if you could have the correct spoiler for the car it would be cool.

For you guys offering up stock New Edge springs, keep me in mind. I am looking for a set or two to experiment with.

Nah I would hate it. I'm not really a huge fan of the Steeda wing either honestly. Moving the 99/00 spoiler back is free and looks good.

Soo... Guy on FB wants to trade me a low mileage Termi setup for my Novi setup... Really have to think about this one. Depends on what he has.

I read all this stuff as much as possible. For as much work that you have already put into this and to keep it as Steeda as possible. I wouldn't do it.

I'd keep the Novi. Original to the car and what not.

What about a turbo setup scotty? Could you use a kit off of a 5.0 and piece it together to work on a 4.6 or does that not interest you at all? There's a twin setup selling reasonably on Craigslist here lol.

No turbo. Lol I've already gotten rid of the entire Steeda rear end, swapping to 4v and traded the original bassanni exhaust. Not really concerned with keeping it super original. Car will never appreciate and there is really no market for them.

But I'm undecided on the Novi trade. Termi setup is better for a street car.

What would you do when you build the motor? An Eaton will only get you so far compared to the Novi.

Sell it and plop a bigger blower on. But yes the Novi is futureproof for me and its a very uncommon blower.

Probably should just keep the Novi tbth.

In other news... Have the 3" MAC exhaust tenatively traded for a 2.5"flowmaster 40 series. I haven't ran flows since like 2003 lol.

I think that you should put the car together with the parts on hand, and then trade the car for a Terminator, if that's what you want.

Scotty could probably find someone who will trade... And probably find someone who will give him cash on top of the deal!

Traded the too big MAC exhaust for a temporary diy Flowmaster.

Actually saw pics of it on the car and it tucks up really well.

Now just waiting on the irs shocks and springs. Will do the poly bushings in the meantime.

Friend at work is selling a Magnaflow catback. Otherwise I will take the flow tubes and tips off this one and have my local shop weld up some better stainless tails and throw it on a pair of Dynomax Ultras.

Getting caught up on your build... You have an IRS going in now?! I think it would be cool if you kept the NOVI.

So like... thing has sat for too damn long. Selling my 01 CRV and that $500 Jeep I am fixing up and then taking funds from those sales to finish. Probably need $1k worth of parts to finish it plus the cost of a tune and new wheels/tires so probably $2500 total. I can sell the 2V stuff to make a little of that back.

-Getting the roof professionally vinyl covered because I suck at it

-Basic Terminator fuel setup

-99 Cobra cams with degree, aftermarket cam gears and advance the intake/slightly ****** the exhaust

-40k mile 4V with C heads, Mach intake, stock internals

-Intercooled Novi 2000

-99 Cobra IRS with all Poly bushings, Bilsteins and basic lowering springs

-Aluminum DS

Set it to 425rwhp with a 6800rpm redline and enjoy. This is going to be a street car so no need to go nuts with forged internals.

It needs to be. Biggest thing left is the stupid passenger secondary tensioner and dowel mod kit and cloyes gears to do the cam degree. And valve springs. Valvetrain is 90% of what I have to do. After that its just installing stuff and startup tune and go. I just need to do it. Selling these two SUVs I'm not using anymore will get me there for $$$. Tax returns already earmarked for bills.

I was wondering if a Continental 4V would bolt in a New Edge.

Needs an adapter for the block and the mustang 4v front cover and accessories and a Mach or Cobra intake. Cobra intake cams are a good idea but not required. All of which I got for free in trades and flipping parts... Only paid $200 for the motor lol.

Interesting. I guess they didn't changed the engine mount positions on the engine block itself. Considering 96-98 cams?
