Brought it home today finally. Anyone not following my other thread, I only paid $5500 for 34k original miles because it has a blown motor. Looking for replacement motors already and found a ton of real low mile Vic engines locally. Car is not perfect... Little nitpcky things that drive me bonkers that I will get on immediately.
Honestly... Not really much to do after I swap the motor out and cosmetic stuff. I'll list the build sheet when I get on a computer.
They can do all of the holes with the water jet. When I had the flanges cut for the cat deletes on my truck, the holes just needed to be reamed out a bit to make them the correct size.
If you don't want to make copies immediately, you can just make an accurate template of the plate with some poster board, or otherwise suitable material, and that is all they need to water jet the plates. I just brought them a gasket to copy when I had the flanges made.

You can actually download a cad program for free... Autodesk student or something like that will allow you to make your self a templet and save it so you could just send it to any company to have cut. Or give me a supper accurate drawing I could do it solidworks 3D no problem.
So in my hunt for a true black interior as I ****ing hate the charcoal interior especially in a silver car (looks blue) I found a 94 v6 parts car complete for $500 with a black interior. Going to go look at it this weekend.
Also is black exterior so if its in good shape and I get it I can play around with black roof trim and black 94-98 sail panels which do bolt to a 99-04 car. To go with the black roof.
Then hopefully part the rest out for a few $hundred and sell off my charcoal interior and make it all back. That's the plan anyway if the interior is in good shape. Nothing like an entire parts car.
Yep he has a brand new looking Mac catback. Not my first choice but not bad. I have a friend at work who is selling a Magnaflow setup soon anyway so I will see where he is at before I put them on.

And no to the straight line. I mean I'll take it to the track but not super concerned with it. Hell I have had a few ppl tell me I should trade the Novi setup for a Termi and ported blower but I dunno about that... I mean the IRS swap is one thing but the original Novi is kinda cool. And makes the car a Steeda build...

Pulled the sra today. Garage is a disaster... Will clean up tomorrow and load it. Not missing game 7. It's dusty but in real good shape and I have to say Steeda did a badass job back in 2000 with this 4 link.
It'll all clean up real well for the new owner, just dirty.

Yep he has the correct flange on it. And I sent him a TON of pics... he's good. That SRA is not a "rusty hunk of iron" lol. Actually 34k miles, 3.73s, Steeda uppers and lowers, Steeda adjustable swaybar, Steeda regular swaybar, slotted rotors and poly bushings everywhere except the chassis side of the UCAs which is a good thing.
But I am super stoked. Making the swap Tuesday, need to find some IRS springs and shocks since he has coilovers and isn't trading that setup. I should be able to get Termi springs for $20 and then figure out the shocks.
Yeah well the stick axles all do that from the factory pretty much. Steeda really did a bang up job on the 4 link tho. Also while it's out I'm going to put the battery in the trunk and drop the tank to do the fuel pump. Staying returnless for the stock motor and will go return when I do the built one.

Loaded up and ready for trade tomorrow. Forgot how heavy these damn things are. Hooked the picker up via the uca attachments and it was easy to load tho.

Besides messing with the brake lines a little its a 100% bolt on for 99-04s. I just need to find some cheap temp springs and shocks since this guy has coilovers and is keeping them. Might just get some springs and leave the sra shocks in while it just sits in the garage.

So yeah this IRS is LEGIT. Real clean, poly subframe bushings, new poly bushings for the rest, upgrades me to rear Cobra brakes, front 03 style support and stainless brake lines.
Came with a 3" MAC exhaust I am probably going to sell or trade for a 2.5". Friend at work is selling a Magnaflow which I'll buy if he's selling soon.
