New wheels

So I originally ordered the fr500's and they came back and told me they didn't have any in stock so I went with the bullets, 17x9's with 245's, then 17x10.5's (deep dished) with 315's. And I'm actually glad I got these I'm in love with them. Click image for larger version

Nice! Personally I loved the FR500s I had on my ride. Where were you trying to order them from?

Looks sooo good! Black/chrome lipped bullitts always look sick on a black new edge.

I have the same setup from American Racing on my 03 and I agree, bullitts just look awesome. Tire combo is perfect too.

Thanks man! Yeah I got Mickey thompson's street comps in the back and they hook pretty good. I'm in love with my new set up get a lot of compliments definitely changed the appearance a lot. I'm doing all suspension this summer and maybe minor bolt ons then during winter I wanna take the motor out and rebuild bottom end. Along with new heads and cams. But we will see what goes down because there's always that one thing that gets in the way....$$$, or port and polish the pi heads with a stage 2/3 cam.

^ Some of the new edge v6's came with 15's so I imagine they'd fit on a GT as well. They're pretty small imo but it's whatever you like.

Cool thanks i appreciate it , I'm thinking of going with wider and taller 15's to fill the gap .

I've found that 17's and 18's look the best for figments, unless you plan on having some drag radials in the back. But then again that's only for track.

Yeah I would shoot for 18s, and with a 40 sidewall. Lower it 1.5" and it should sit really nicely.

It does but when you say 40 sidewall, make sure that ppl realize that the sidewall number is just a percentage. On my old 98 I had a 45 sidewall up front and a 40 sidewall out back but the back tire was taller. 235/45/18 and 275/40/18. 45% of 235mm=105.75mm sidewall up front and 40% of 275mm=110mm sidewall out back.

I would say shoot right for an overall diameter of 26" for a street car. Will not have rubbing issues and will fill up the wheel wells a little better and 26.1" actually was an OEM size on the SN95 for 2 years on the 94/95 Cobra.
