Low compression

I have a 2000 mustang gt ,I bought some pi heads and mild cams . I had it sent out to a machine shop to get some work done had it installed and it had a code for random misfire that wouldn't go away. I did a compression test and in cylinders 5-8
It had 100-110 on 1-4 I had 170 all across and it's running really rich . Anyone know what it could be ?

Did you do a "by the book", accurate, compression test?

Can you go into a little more detail as to the work that you had done and any codes that you have?

Any cylinder below 90 psi is bad , means your engine is more than likely gone , 100 psi is fairly normal but anything over 100 psi means your engine is ok

Low compression

Sounds like they didn't deck 5-8 or something... That's assuming of course you had it done.
