O4 gt misfire

just bought a 04 gt three days ago and it's popping a cylinder 4 misfire and random misfire code. The shop has checked coils, compression, plugs ect and can't figure it out. Thinks it has something to do with the injector. I have bigger injectors, better coils, not sure what else because I bought it that way. Anyone have a similar problem? Should I just go back to oe injectors? Thank you.

Do you know if the car has a tune?
What color are the injectors that are on the engine right now?

If you want to check for a bad fuel injector, remove the one from the misfiring cylinder and swap it with the cylinder next to it. Then clear the codes and see if the misfire code moves to cylinder #3.

I don't know if it's had a tune. Bought it from a dealership and they don't know. Also I hadn't looked at the injectors. The shop told me today that's what they think it is. When I pick it up later I'll reply again.

So I'm an idiot. The dealership lied to me, it's the pink stock injectors.

You can try moving that injector to another cylinder and see if the misfire code follows it.

If the coil and the spark plug and the fuel injector all check out good, the next thing to do will be a compression test.
