Halfway termi swap?

I saw a kit online earlier that allows you to bolt on a different lower intake and a cobra eaton blower or even a whipple or kenne bell.. Has any one done this? I know I would still be a 2v but I'm sure the blower would give a nice bump..

Here's the kit

Nobody on here but google and youll find a ton of info. theyve been around a long time. only way to get a whipple or tvs on a 2v.

also the $2300 price is not everything. still need to source some termi parts tp make it work. figure $4k minimum for everything if you are diy. probably closer to $5k.

My buddy got a stock cobra blower with intent of putting it on. He is now considering a coyote swap since even that blower isn't as easy of an install as you would think.

I personally don't think it is worth the money, but one guy on here has done the swap. Tork tech project finally finished

Halfway termi swap?

Just buy a Kenne Bell 2.1l kit. Comes with all you need and will save headache, time, and probably a bit of money. Plus the blower can't be beat for it's type. It is quite literally the most efficient design of it's kind.

Can you track me down a link for that kit?

I just want a little more power, other than selling my car and finding a termi lol

When you look at their price catalog it'll list like 5k for the kit, that's with the charge cooler which is 1000 bucks on it's own and is only needed for more than 6psi. 9psi will take you up to about as high as you can safely go on stock internals.

Should always get the intercooler IMO, no matter what boost you are running. Heck I probably don't have to with the Novi and I've got a full FMIC kit coming in this week.

Getting a full kit with all the fuel stuff and the mail in tune is always going to be the easiest way to go also, I would NOT recommend the Tork Tech kit to a novice. Not at all. I would also not recommend running the mail in tunes from the manufacturers but it is a good startup tune at least.

I agree, but he said he was lookin for a little boost. Figured I'd inform him of the option. Easy enough to install later if he wants the extra 3psi

If you just want more power get a centrifugal supercharger. Can get them dirt cheap nowadays.

Eh... word is out on building them yourself via superchargersonline and a good used headunit. A good s trim is like $800 minimum. But yeah they are the cheapest option.

Yeah true, you have to look and be ready to jump with $$$ right away though. But then there will be nickel/dime stuff and a tune etc... plus if you have to pay for the install that's more $$$.

Not trying to be discouraging, but there are way too many threads out there where you see "just buy a kit for $1500 on the corral" and people think that's all they have to spend...
