I went with staggered 18" chrome Saleens on my '99, and I love them! Yeah, it may not be that original to do, but I don't care. I think that style is the perfect look on the 96-04 cars.

When people see your car, they aren't thinking about how many others have a same certain add-on that you do. They just see your car alone.

So that's a replacement of the whole manifold?

Yes, the plastic flange under the metal crossover tube by the tstat warps. Once that happens its replacement time. They all do it eventually. This is why I never recommend anyone buy a used PI intake. People think "metal crossover=never leak", this is completely false. They'll last a LOT longer than the 99/00 style they replaced, like 100k+ long but eventually that area fails.

I got it fixed lol I did myself with no expense and no manifold.

However I think I wet #7 plug or coil because I'm misfiring.

Yeah probably some silicone and a clamp I'm assuming.

Pull the #7 coil out, blow out the plug well with compressed air and pull the boot off the coil and see how the spring looks. If its rusty or anything, replace all 8 springs/boots with a $30 kit from Amazon. Good excuse to do spark plugs if they have not been done in awhile as well.

No just clamp. I cut the ridges off and was able to get the hose to reach the bottom of the manifold piece. So it's sitting good and tight I will have to replace the manifold fool in the near future tho.
