96 Cobra Fuel Tank & Straps

~MYSTIC GAS TANK~
-I worked hours on cleaning up the exterior of the car. New coat of paint put on the gas tank.
Most of the pictures are posted in the "Paint & Appearance" section of forum.
It's subtle, but if you notice it, it looks really nice,...

Looks good!

Did you use the paint, in the spray can, that they sell at the auto parts stores?

Yes, I got it at the auto parts store. Advanced Auto. Spray can. Clear coat too.
Looks pretty wild in person, I like it. Not very visible but something unique once you check it out.

I am NOT a fan of those shades of colors on wheels unless you are a drug dealer in Miami or something...

If they look like the pic you posted i think it will look good. Do what you like, worst case you have to peel it off.

And then lower it, lol. It looks good now with the wheels you have but even better if you lowered it.

I don't think he is talking about dipping them. I still hate gold wheels but its not my car so my opinion means precisely dick.

Agreed about lowering the car tho, stock mustang front height looks absolutely ridiculous. After having ones with front suspension for so long it actually looks like something is wrong when you see a stock one.

I've got a set of H&R SS lowering springs, KONI STR Fox Body shock/struts, C/C plates, X2 balljoints, Bumpsteer kit laying next to bed on floor staring at me. Hope to have them on sooner than later, hate starring at all the new toys wrapped up in boxes.
**Clutch needs replaced ASAP. Got a McLeod clutch kit, MM cable kit, FRPP TO & Pilot bearings, TO retainer sleeve, adjustable fork pivot bolt, ect.. also in boxes starring at me, every damn day.
These are the wheels I have chosen, but not yet purchased:~Wheels on there now were from previous owner. PlastiDip them bronze to match convertible top.
