Question about isos

Hello, I have h&r race springs with poly isos. I got a American racing wheels and tire combo 18x9 and 18x10. I noticed I still have a good amount of fender gap. If I take out all the isos and rap them in electrical tape and smear some grease or something on them, will there be any negative affect? Thanks in advance.

The only negative effect is, after a while, they may begin to squeak a little once you have worn through the electrical tape and grease.

I wrapped mine with electrical pecker wrap, kinda stretchy , thick wrap. Never a noise for 5 years.
