ignition wont turn as in physically, the key wont turn? or you turn the key and nothing happens? on a manual, you have the ignition switch, the starter and the clutch pedal position sensor. If that sensor is bad, then the car thinks you arent pushing the clutch in before you start the car.
EDIT: Its called a Starter Safety switch, and its connected to the clutch pedal. i would first check the connection to it. Somehow your foot may have knocked it out. otherwise, check for corrosion. I havent heard of too many of these just dying out like that, but doesnt mean it cant happen.
