The wing doesn't really do anything for a street car. It really is more cosmetic than anything else. Mustangs just don't look the same without them.

If your remember or are old enough, the wing on the Quattrovalvole, and few Countach left the factory without one, but it is however completely useless.

The Countach does not suffer from aerodynamic lift at high speeds, so the rear wing only adds drag, a lot of cost (it was still an expensive option at about US $ 5000) and most important, a lower top speed.

If you can afford one of those Supercars, you can dish out the extra money for the wing.

Going wingless seems to be the trend on here the past few days! I like them wingless but to me they look the best when lowered as well and the wing deleted. Anyway, i think your car looks good wingless and i like the black you added. What are your plans for the trunk lid?

The trunk lid is what stopped me from leaving mine off when i removed it a few weeks ago. The ring around where it sat on both sides wouldnt clean up right and had small scratches in the paint. If i found a cheap trunk lid from a v6 and had it painted i think that is the best way to go.

I'm gonna leave it as is for now I plugged the holes with grommets later I'll seal the holes and repaint and I agree with lowering the car which should be done in a couple of months
